Dr. James S. Albertoli

Dr. Albertoli is a licensed physician in the State of Maryland, diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners, and a board certified plastic surgeon of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Albertoli has been in private practice in the Western Maryland area for 25 years, and he specializes in all types of hand and reconstructive surgery.

He is a diplomat and member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery,  member of the Maryland State Medical Society, member of Surgical Society of the New York Medical College, active member of American Society for Plastic Surgeons, member of Maryland Medical Chirurgical Association and fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Albertoli is a 1983 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Pre Professional. He then went on to complete his Doctorate of Medicine in 1988 at New York Medical College in Westchester County, New York. Dr. Albertoli successfully completed a five year general surgery residency program at St. Vincent's Medical and Trauma Center in New York City from 1988-1992, and then went on to become Chief Resident of general surgery until 1993. Additionally, Dr. Albertoli completed a two year fellowship in plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery at Georgetown University Hospital in 1995.

Dr. Albertoli began his first private practice in hand, plastic and reconstructive surgery in 1995 in Washington County and additionally Frederick County in 2002. In 2007, he established a private practice and accredited ambulatory center in Frederick County which is located at 56 Thomas Johnson Drive Suite 100.

Dr. Albertoli currently holds affiliations and privileges with Frederick Health Hospital, Frederick Surgical Center, and the Ambulatory Center for Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has been on staff at Frederick Health Hospital since 2002.
